Details

New Denver Church hosts an amazing MomCo group, short for "mom community," and formerly known as MOPS. The MomCo began here in Denver by a small group of moms who wanted to build community and help each other become better moms. Now, groups meet all over the world. The MomCo is a faith-based group, however all moms are welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

The MomCo at NDC meets regularly for community, encouragement, tons of practical ideas, brunch (yay!), and childcare (double yay!), all with the motto, “There are lots of ways to be a good mom!”

Who?
Moms with kids birth through 18 years old. First-time expecting moms are also welcome!

When?
9:30am – 11:30am, alternating Fridays during fall and spring.

Where?
New Denver Church (700 Bonnie Brae Blvd – We're across the street from Bonnie Brae Ice Cream!)

What is a meeting like?
The coffee and tea are ready to go as you walk in at 9:30am. Moms rotate in contributing items for our potluck-style brunch.

We hang out and eat first, then we generally have a speaker on various topics, followed by discussion with the moms at your table.

The beauty of the meeting is the kids are taken care of by loving, background-checked childcare workers and you can rest and enjoy two hours, kid-free, with other moms!

What does it cost and include?
About $80 per semester.

The cost covers the meetings during the semester, childcare, membership to MomCo, speaker fees, basic hospitality items, etc.

Full and partial scholarships are available so please don’t let money keep you from coming!

Can I try a meeting first?
Yes! You can come visit. After one visit, if you choose to come back, we ask you to pay the semester dues (or confirm a scholarship).
